Buckle up as we venture through Fort Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Hope, Harrison, Mission, and conclude our adventure in Maple Ridge.

Our first stop is Fort Langley, where history comes alive. Explore the Fort Langley National Historic Site, a restored 19th-century trading post that offers a fascinating glimpse into the area’s colonial past. Immerse yourself in interactive exhibits, take a guided tour, or even try your hand at blacksmithing. Make sure to visit the BC Farm Museum, where you can discover the rich agricultural history of the Fraser Valley through displays of vintage farming equipment and artifacts.

In our exploration of the arts and things to do in Fraser Valley, we mustn’t overlook the Indigenous galleries in the area. Langley is home to the Kwantlen First Nation, and their cultural heritage is celebrated at the Kwantlen Cultural Centre. Explore their gallery, which showcases traditional and contemporary Indigenous artwork, including paintings, carvings, and beadwork. Engage in cultural workshops and learn about the rich traditions and stories of the Kwantlen people.

Langley is also home to Bez’s Arts Hub venue where on June 18th, Father’s Day you can take in Juneteenth/Father’s Day: an  afternoon parking lot party and music festival! Interested in some art? Book a workshop with talented Wendy Mould!

Featuring a concert with BC Entertainment Hall Of Fame, Marcus Mosely! Come for fried chicken dinners, soul and gospel music from Sister J’s Soul Summit and Bez Gospel Choir, and an outdoor bar. We think bringing your dad is a real good idea.

Moving on to Abbotsford, a vibrant city with a thriving arts scene, we visit The Reach Gallery Museum. This captivating cultural hub features diverse exhibitions that showcase both local and international artists.
