Buckle up for an unforgettable journey along the picturesque Sea-to-Sky Corridor where adventure meets culture and history at every turn. Our road trip kicks off with a blast at the iconic Britannia Mine Museum, a restored functional mine dedicated to preservation and education. Unearth the rich history of this important landmark with engaging experiences for all ages.

Next stop? Sea to Sky Gondola where you’ll enjoy a scenic ride to an elevation of 885 meters, providing panoramic views of Howe Sound, coastal forests, and surrounding mountains. Enjoy hiking around the peak and grab some refreshments at the Co-Pilot Café at the Summit Lodge. After your gondola advdenture, enter the city of Squamish, a vibrant hub of cultural tourism nestled along the coastline. Here art walks, bustling markets, and galleries beckon, showcasing the diverse talents of local artisans. The town pulses with energy, driven by a deep reverence for its indigenous heritage.

At the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Líl̓wat7úl (Squamish Lil’wat) Cultural Centre, you’ll be enveloped in the richness of First Nations traditions. Through immersive exhibits and educational programs, the center honors the ancestral wisdom and artistic legacies of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and Líl̓wat7úl (Lil’wat) peoples, fostering a deeper understanding of contemporary indigenous culture.

Continuing our alpine odyssey, we ascend to the wonderland of Whistler, a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts and home to the Whistler Museum where stories of alpine glory and Olympic feats come alive. Reigning as the premier arts and cultural experience is the breathtaking Audain Art Museum offering a prodigious permanent collection spanning from the late 18th century to present. Discover the hidden gem of The Point Artist-Run Centre, a collective dedicated to eclectic offerings and in August, the Flagstop Theatre and Arts Festival.

As we wind our way through the picturesque Pemberton Valley, we’re transported back in time at the Pemberton and District Museum and Archives Society where the stories of pioneers and First Nations peoples intertwine, weaving a tapestry of resilience and heritage against the backdrop of snow-capped peaks.

From the rugged coastline to the towering mountains, the Sea-to-Sky Corridor captivates with its beauty, history, and cultural vibrancy. So, hit the road and let the adventure unfold as you traverse this breathtaking landscape.
