Discover Nanaimo Ceramic Arts Studio and Gallery, nestled in downtown Nanaimo on traditional Snuneymuxw land. Our diverse store showcases ceramics, paintings, jewelry, cards, and fibre arts. With a fully-equipped clay and art classroom, private studios, kiln, and glaze room, creativity kn​​ows no bounds here.

Join us for weekly ceramic classes in wheel throwing and hand building. Explore monthly memberships and open studio sessions for those who have taken a course with us. Dive into advanced clay workshops or enjoy our one night Make a Mug/Make A Bowl sessions. NCA also hosts ceramic shows from local artists and our Artist In Residence Program.

Experience our dynamic arts classroom offering 1-2 day workshops for all ages from printmaking, drawing, paintings, felting and more. We cater to kids with camps and after-school programs, while Paint Nights add a splash of fun to evenings.

Accessible to all, our studio invites you to explore, learn, and create. Welcome to Nanaimo Ceramic Arts Studio and Gallery, where art comes to life.

Nanaimo Ceramic Arts Studio and Gallery is owned by local potter Bronwyn Arundel.

WORKSHOPS:

Make A Mug – Saturday nights at 6:30 PM

Come for the night and make your own hand built mug! Experience making your own mug from scratch with step by step directions from an experienced clay instructor. You will build, decorate and choose a color. All supplies included.

Make A Bowl – Saturday Nights at 6:30 PM

Try your hand at the potter’s wheel and make a bowl with step by step instruction from our experience clay instructor.

Paint Nights – Friday Nights at 6:30 PM

Join us for an evening of creative play! Turn an image into a painting with step-by-step instructions and experiment with colour combinations and mark-making.
