Rigoletto
By Giuseppe Verdi
Sung in Italian with English Titles

October 25 – November 2, 2025
Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Vancouver
⏱️ Approx. 2 hrs 30 min (incl. intermission)

A father’s desperate love. A duke’s corruption. A jester’s revenge. Verdi’s Rigoletto unfolds as a gripping tale of power, betrayal, and tragedy—brought to life by director Glynis Leyshon and conductor Jacques Lacombe. Featuring baritone Michael Chioldi as Rigoletto and soprano Sarah Dufresne as Gilda, this new co-production with Pacific Opera Victoria promises unforgettable music and high drama, including classics like “La donna è mobile” and “Caro nome.”
