Destination Silver Star

Destination Silver Star is a destination management organization mandated to maintain and enhance the Silver Star experience. Founded in 2020, Destination Silver Star is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization with approximately 1000 members representing accommodations, attractions, restaurants, retail and homeowners. The organization focuses on community and member engagement through initiatives such as marketing, sales, events, media relations, research, and destination development.

Silver Star is located 22km northeast of Vernon, British Columbia, in the scenic Okanagan Valley. This small mountain community is home to SilverStar Mountain Resort, which offers a wide variety of year-round outdoor activities. In the summer, visitors can enjoy biking and hiking on scenic trails with breathtaking views of the Monashee Mountains, while the winter season brings opportunities for skiing and snowboarding, Nordic skiing, skating, and so much more. Silver Star also boasts a range of accommodations, from vacation homes, town houses, condos, and hotels, ensuring a comfortable stay for all visitors.
