First Saturday Open Studios is a free, monthly event that began in 2010 and can be found in various locations across BC.
This is an opportunity to visit artists at work in their studios located throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, Gulf Islands and the Okanagan. Check the website for updates and who is open each month. www.firstsaturday.ca
Explore working studios, ask questions, learn about techniques and build relationships. Buy art directly from the artist and receive details and stories behind their artwork. All mediums are represented including fibre art, woodworking, painting, collage, jewellery, assemblage, printmaking, photography and more.
