Originally built in 1905 as Steveston’s first bank, discover the people and moments that shaped Steveston Village. Continue your visit in the Japanese Fishermen’s Benevolent Society building built in the 1890s and moved on-site in 2010. Among the thought-provoking exhibits, explore the tragedies and triumphs experienced by the local Japanese Canadian community
Inside the Steveston Museum, you will also find the Tourism Richmond Visitor Centre and the Steveston Post Office. At the Tourism Richmond Visitor Centre, friendly staff will help you to enjoy the best that our region has to offer. The Steveston Post Office offers special edition coins and the latest stamps for collectors.
