Quesnel Art Gallery

What began as a small, volunteer-driven grassroots initiative has blossomed over four decades into a beacon of artistic excellence in the Cariboo region of British Columbia. While our origins may have been humble, the Quesnel Art Gallery has since grown and thrived, thanks in part to the dedicated support of our community and the tireless efforts of our volunteers.

Today, we are proud to operate with the assistance of dedicated funding that enables us to employ a skilled team member. Working closely with our volunteer board of directors, this individual ensures that the gallery’s vision continues to be realized, while our passionate volunteers remain integral to every aspect of our operation.

While its main focus is on the work of local artisans and maintains a strong British Columbia flavour, the Quesnel Art Gallery & Gift Shop has also hosted the works of artists from as far as away as Australia.

We offer a different show each month in our Gallery space. Show opening dates can be found on our website and on our social media pages. We gratefully acknowledge those businesses who sponsor our monthly gallery shows.
