The Penticton Art Gallery is a leading visual arts institution and community cultural hub located along the waterfront in downtown Penticton.

Dedicated to showcasing and preserving the artistic and cultural heritage of Canada—particularly that of Indigenous Peoples—the gallery presents a dynamic program of rotating exhibitions featuring local, national, and international artists. Its mission centres on engaging the public with important social issues through visual art while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and community connection.

With over 18 exhibitions annually, the gallery offers a diverse range of contemporary and historical works across mediums, alongside educational programs, workshops, and events for all ages. Visitors can explore paintings, sculptures, and multimedia installations that reflect both regional identity and broader global perspectives.

Admission is by donation, reinforcing its role as an accessible and inclusive space. The gallery also features a gift shop highlighting handcrafted pieces by local and regional artists, further supporting the Okanagan’s creative community.

Overall, it stands as a cultural anchor in the Okanagan—where art, community, and dialogue come together in an inspiring lakeside setting.
