Kaslo River Trail of Sculptures

This trail encompassing serene views of the lake is unforgettable, whether experiencing it in winter or summer. Pack cleats and hiking poles for extra stability along the sometimes steep and slippery sections of the trail. Whilst enjoying the amazing natural vistas of the Kaslo River, keep a sharp eye out for sculptures hidden along the trail. There are eight of them created and installed by the KootsArtist Collective. Road Trip to Crawford Bay

Crawford Bay is a small community artistic, creative community located near the eastern shores of the Kootenay Lake. This area is a popular destination for water sports like fishing, lil kayaking, as well as activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and golfing. A cultural highlight is strolling through the various artisanal studios and shops featuring blacksmiths, hand-weavers, broom-makers, and potters always willing to engage with visitors as they make uniquely crafted products desired as special gifts, or functional/decorative creative objects for oneself.
