The Museum displays a collection of Haisla heritage artifacts in its Upstairs Gallery. The collection includes those artifacts held in trust for the Haisla Nation such as the bentwood box pieces. The exhibition is an opportunity for the Museum to foster a stronger relationship and bond with the Haisla Nation through consultation, collaboration, providing improvements to the safety of Haisla heritage artifacts, and cultural information for public education and understanding.

Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art Exhibition: February
This exhibition showcases the artwork of students completing their fine art certification and diplomas at the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art, in Terrace BC. Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art brings all nations together in the pursuit of higher education and sets new standards for aspiring artists.
Summer of Adventure: July & August
During July and August, the Kitimat Museum & Archives offers six weeks of children’s summer programs and learn various things about local geology, culture, and animals.
Annual Christmas Gift Shop: December
Three weeks before Christmas each year, the Kitimat Museum & Archives hosts local crafters in its Upstairs Gallery for browsing and sales to the visiting public.
