Maple Ridge is situated in the northeastern section of Greater Vancouver between the Fraser River and Golden Ears. Some of the main things to do in the city include The ACT Arts Centre overlooking Spirit Square Memorial Peace Park. The art centre opened in 2003 and has been hosting gallery exhibitions, performing arts presentations and organizing events for the local community. One of the most notable artists in the city is Kristin Krimmel. Apart from the gallery, the city has several public art installations throughout the city. Some of the most well-known include the Bear’s Feast, Beast Horse Clock, Sea to Sky Eagle and the Trace Line. There are plenty of engaging things to do in Maple Ridge, making it a vibrant destination in Greater Vancouver
