The Cranbrook History Centre is a landmark cultural institution located in Cranbrook, British Columbia, dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of our community and region. As a non-profit organization managed by the Cranbrook Archives, Museum, and Landmark Society (CAMAL) for the past 49 years — “Creating a Legacy” — the Centre is home to a nationally designated railcar collection, internationally recognized paleontology specimens, and a growing archive that safeguards the stories of Cranbrook and the East Kootenay for all to explore and discover. Guided by our mission to ignite imagination, spark curiosity, and bring history to life, we are committed to being a trusted cultural space, a steward of sustainability, and a hub of creativity and inclusivity.
