Hazelton is a village in the Skeena region of west central British Columbia. The area was inhabited by First Nations for about 3,500 years. Nowadays, the area is home to the Ksan Historical Village and Museum, located near the Gitanmaax settlement, which has existed for centuries. Among the top things to do in the village is visiting the museum, a replica of the ancient village featuring large decorated house fronts and totem poles visible from the water.Enriched with history and culture, Hazelton is a unique destination to visit and explore First Nations’ history and culture in the form of art.
