West Vancouver’s Harmony Arts Festival returns to the sunny shores of Ambleside from August 1 to 10, 2025. Throughout the waterfront parks and plazas, Harmony Arts Festival delivers the best of summer with ten days of free live music, culinary experiences, art exhibitions, art markets, family programming, and Indigenous art.
With so much on offer you’ll need all ten days to discover everything, festival highlights include:
Visual Arts:
Walking in the Footsteps, an exhibition by Peter Kiss, Zoltan Kiss, and Tania Gleave, opens with a public reception on Friday, August 1, from 6 to 8pm at the Ferry Building Gallery. Join featured artist Peter Kiss for a free artist talk, Sunday, August 3, at 12pm.
Music:
The Sounds of Summer echo through the shore with 50+ free concerts at the Beedie West Stage and RE/MAX Garden Stage in Millennium Park. On weekends, stop and enjoy the music starting at 1:15pm. Markets:
The Weekend Artisan Market fills Argyle Avenue with ceramics, textiles, photography, woodcraft, and more, from August 1 to 4 and August 8 to 10.
The Midweek Bespoke Night Market from 3 to 9pm on August 5 to 7, for mindful shoppers sharing a commitment to consume locally showcases unique handmade goods and traditional items; ceramics, clothing, vintage items, jewelry, paper products, and artisan food and beverages.
Dining:
The Park Royal Beachside Patio in Millennium Park is the hub for relaxing sips and bites with a baker’s dozen food trucks and stalls serving up a global selection of flavours including Aperitivo Truck – espresso, cocktail and wine bar, Baba’s House Kitchen – traditional Polish bites, Chou Chou Crepes – French creperie, Dolce Amore – Italian Gelato, Dos Amigos Tex-Mex – taco truck, Mashiko – Korean street food, Rico ‘N Lalo Paletas – Latin American fresh fruit frozen treats, Stackers – burger bar and more will whet your palate.
Kids:
John Lawson Park is home of kids’ art workshops, art exhibitions, and family-oriented activities.
For kids of all ages, can visit Artsy Kids Outdoor Studio for free craft and art workshops on Origami, Bead Work, Mosaics, Painting, Prints and Sculpting.
For the Love of Art exhibition showcases a selection of art created by local youth under the age of 19 during the festival.
