Come From Away

The Arts Club Theatre Company presents Come From Away, a powerful, Canadian-made musical running May 28 to July 26, 2026, at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage in Vancouver. Created by Canadian writers Irene Sankoff and David Hein, this Tony Award–nominated production is staged in partnership with the Citadel Theatre.

Inspired by true events following the September 11 attacks, the musical tells the remarkable story of how the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, welcomed 7,000 stranded airline passengers after 38 planes were unexpectedly grounded. Through an energetic ensemble cast and a vibrant score blending folk, Celtic, and contemporary music, Come From Away captures moments of tension, humour, and compassion as strangers form lasting bonds in the face of uncertainty.
