Arts Club Theatre Company has unveiled its highly anticipated 2026–2027 season finale: a brand-new production of Les Misérables, running June 24 to August 22, 2027, at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage.

Directed by Artistic Director Ashlie Corcoran, this reimagined staging of the iconic musical promises a fresh creative vision, with entirely new sets, costumes, and design elements. Widely regarded as one of the most beloved musicals of all time, Les Misérables features unforgettable songs such as “I Dreamed a Dream,” “Bring Him Home,” and “One Day More,” continuing to resonate with audiences across generations.

Based on Les Misérables by Victor Hugo, the story follows Jean Valjean’s powerful journey of redemption, justice, and compassion in 19th-century France. With themes of forgiveness, resilience, and moral courage, the production remains deeply relevant in today’s world.

This summer musical caps off a diverse 15-show season across the company’s Vancouver venues, reinforcing the Arts Club’s role as a leading cultural institution in British Columbia. With limited licensing rights and high demand, this production offers a rare opportunity to experience a bold new interpretation of a global musical phenomenon on one of Vancouver’s premier stages.
