Founded in 1979, the Inuit Gallery has been dedicated to promoting Inuit, Northwest Coast Indigenous and Canadian art. The gallery is known for presenting groundbreaking exhibitions, participating in international art fairs and placing works in major museum and private collections worldwide. The gallery features sculpture and graphics by established, senior artists as well as new art works by the talented new generation of artists.

After being in Gastown for 42 years, the gallery re-located to North Vancouver in July 2021.  The gallery is now located directly across from Lonsdale Quay and The Polygon Gallery in the heart of the Shipyards District which is only a scenic 12 minute Seabus ride from downtown Vancouver.
