This community of Hope BC has a rich longstanding history. The story and brand all date back to the First Nations Presence – which today has made a strong impact on the area. The places you go, the things you see, all have connections to the rich soiled history through its Indigenous culture, Gold Rush, the mighty Railway and the Transport Hub that it has since created through Western Canada. Today forestry, tourism and the service sector are the district’s economic bases. Hope, Cascades & Canyons has rich and diverse stories to tell and is a place for weary travellers to wander.
History lives on today in this prevalent community. We invite you to experience our past, present, and beautiful mountain country here at Hope, Cascades & Canyons.
The Hope Visitor Centre and Museum Complex is the ideal place to start your adventure in the Hope, Cascades & Canyons region. We are open 7 days a week and our staff is ready to help you make the most of your time in the region. We have trail maps, self-guided tour maps for the chainsaw carvings and Rambo, and a myriad of other information.
