ARTWRX Studio/Gallery, formerly known as Art Alchemy Studio, is a shared studio space in downtown Courtenay where we support each other to promote growth and professionalism as artists. A visit to the ARTWRX Studio offers you an opportunity to view the work of 10 individual artists with very unique styles. The goal is that each artist has fun creating in an open, supportive environment. We encourage dialogue with visitors to share our art and to give them a glimpse of the creative process.
We, at ARTWRX Studio place a high priority on recognizing and supporting the greater community of artists by hosting the Square Foot Show each year, in November. Artists from Vancouver Island and across Canada are invited to submit to this juried show, now in its 12th year and is highly anticipated by artists and art collectors, alike.
Our studio provides a place for interaction with other artists and the public. The space is centrally located with ample street parking, at no cost. We are blessed with high ceilings, big windows and amazing light, which makes the climb up the stairs to our second level location, well worth the effort.
Besides an array of original paintings, you can find prints, cards and other gift items in our gift shop. We welcome requests regarding commissions and invite enquiries regarding workshops.
ARTWRX Studio/Gallery is officially open to visitors every Saturday, 11:00AM-4:00PM and by appointment every day, 362C 10th Street, Courtenay, BC.
