Amped in The Park is a free outdoor summer concert and performance series hosted by Squamish Arts in downtown Squamish. The event transforms Junction Park and the O’Siyam Pavilion into a lively community gathering space featuring live music, emerging artists, and local performers every Thursday evening during the summer.

The series focuses on showcasing emerging local talent, including musicians, poets, comedians, theatre performers, and other artists. Genres often include rock, folk, jazz, indie, and acoustic music. Many performers are appearing on a large public stage for the first time, making the event both a community celebration and a platform for artistic growth.

The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly: audiences typically bring blankets, lawn chairs, snacks, or picnic dinners while enjoying live performances against the backdrop of the mountains and the iconic O’Siyam Pavilion. Local coverage describes the setting as people “dancing barefoot in the grass” while families relax in the park during warm summer evenings.

For 2026, the series runs every Thursday from June 25 through August 13 at Junction Park in downtown Squamish, and admission is free.
