Gabriola Arts Council's 30th Annual Thanksgiving Studio Tour | Gabriola

Explore a network of 70+ artists working in painting, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, and much more—from participants who have been on the Tour since day one to artists making their debut this year. Start your adventure at Tour Central on the top floor of Nova Boutique & Gallery, located at 575 North Road. View work from every participating artist to help you plan your route; buy tickets for our raffle, featuring prizes collectively valued at over $7,000; and chat with knowledgeable staff and volunteers.

We warmly invite you to our Tour Central opening reception, on Thursday October 8, from 7-9 pm! Schmooze with fellow Tour-goers and meet some of the artists who have worked so hard to make this Tour possible. Be sure to visit the Rainbow Gallery at the Gabriola Theatre Centre, produced by Gabriola Pride. This vibrant space showcases emerging artists from the island’s queer community, adding fresh perspectives and bold expression to the Tour. You can also experience Lighting a Path, a meaningful First Nations installation gifted by the City of Nanaimo.

Gabriola is an easy, fun, and beautiful jaunt from Victoria, Vancouver, and Nanaimo. Come for a day or for the weekend. However you choose to Tour—methodically or meanderingly—it’s all about discovery, connection, and the creative magic woven into this island. Bring your curiosity, take your time, and experience the energy that makes Gabriola Canada’s “Isle of the Arts”. The Studio Tour is a self-guided, free event that does require a vehicle, scooter, or bicycle to visit the studios, located all over Gabriola Island. Come for a day or come for the whole weekend!
