The Parksville Beach Festival Society proudly presents the Quality Foods Sand Sculpting Competition & Exhibition, a world-class event that draws master sculptors from around the globe to Parksville, British Columbia. Over four days, these artists have just 30 hours to transform sand and water into breathtaking works of art.
Parksville’s sand sculpting tradition began in 1982 with the first “B.C. Open,” which welcomed 100 attendees and was hailed as a great success. Today, the event has grown into an internationally recognized Master Sculptor competition, attracting over 115,203 visitors in 2024.
