  • With over 12 acres to explore – including cultivated garden beds, 600 to 800-year-old old-growth rainforest, sculpture including Indigenous work and a wave-shaped memorial of the 2011 tsunami, farm animals, and the protected Tofino Mudflats – there is so much to discover at Tofino Botanical Gardens. Darwin’s Café is a quaint coffeehouse located on site that serves drinks, lunch and light fare.

The Tofino Botanical Gardens are open daily and host several festivals throughout the year including the Tofino Food and Wine Festival in June, Tofino Lantern Festival in August and Winterlights throughout December. The Gardens is also a venue for weddings and other unique events.

The Ecolodge is a 12-room Bed and Breakfast that sits amongst the scenic Gardens and provides unique accommodation to guests while trying to answer the question “how do we live in an environment without diminishing it?” The Ecolodge is ideal for the environmentally conscious traveller looking for quiet, clean, affordable accommodation in Tofino. This intimate space is suitable for individual guests, families, and groups including schools, weddings, and yoga retreats.
Guests enjoy the Tofino Botanical Garden’s environmental values, unique balance of traditional gardening to West Coast rainforest, thought provoking sculpture, charming accommodations and more … you’ll simply have to see it to believe it!
