The Qualicum Beach Museum is a community run museum, featuring a world class Paleontology collection and exhibit, as well as stories and archival photographs about the history of Qualicum Beach.
Features exhibits of Qualicum First Nations History and Culture; Tourism; ‘Fish Trees and Folk’; Natural History; films about local paleontology and local history; and a beautiful garden that includes the Salish Bear pole carved by Hwunumetse’ (Simon Charlie) with views of the Salish Sea. We also feature travelling and community exhibits at various times of the year, and have activities for children such as a museum scavenger hunt.
The Qualicum Beach Museum holds a number of events and special programs throughout the year, including Children’s Museum Day in August.
