We are a family owned and operated business residing in the coastal town of Campbell River, BC, Canada. Jan (a potter) designed the first mussel shell over 35 years ago and was joined shortly after by Mike (a retired commercial fisherman and a man of many talents).
Through hard work, dedication and a talent for self learning Mussels and more was born.
Over the last few years Erin and her husband Blair have been taking over the majority of the day to day running of this diverse business. Erin has also created her own product line called “Mermaid Bath & Candle”. Erins husband Blair also creates stunning knives and woodwork in his spare time.
In 2020 we were all delighted to welcome Jayce (Erin & Blair’s son) to the family who since then comes to work and entertains everyone daily!
