“Loved Loved Loved This Place!”
A scenic ferry ride from Port McNeill delivers you to the edge of tiny Cormorant Island, where you’ll find the Seine Boat Inn perched above the shoreline of the small and vibrant community of Alert Bay.
Built in the 1940’s, during Alert Bay’s heyday as the main supply centre for the South Central Coast, the Inn was lovingly restructured & renovated in 2010. She features reclaimed, and re-purposed old growth fir, which, with the sight and sound of wind and waves beneath your feet, creates an unbeatable atmosphere… comfortable, rustic, truly restorative.
A recent guest expressed her wonder and delight. “It’s the kind of hotel you hope to find, but never really expect to.”
The village is welcoming and friendly; gifted with a rich and vital Namgis First Nations culture; located in the homeland of humpback and orca, grizzly and black bear, sea lion and salmon. The air is fresh and clean, the water pure and good. It’s an ideal setting for exploration & re-creation.
