Event Category: BC’s Best Festivals & Events

  • ArtsWells Festival is presented by Island Mountain Arts, and we are based out of Wells, BC.

Wells has always been a town vibrant of arts and culture.  In the 1930’s, musical acts were enjoyed in the same Community Hall where many of this year’s shows and exhibitions are held.  This is a 4 day outdoor & indoor event taking place across 10 stages and is designed with community in mind.  Artists have traveled from across the country to this little mountain town take part in this inspiring collaboration, now in its 14th year.  We hope that you will enjoy the weekend taking in the great artists, the local flavour of nature trails, historical sites, artisans and friendly folk!

With musicians coming from across the province and from around the globe, festivalgoers can expect a wide variety of musical styles and artistic forms

With both towns creating the festival site, arts and culture abound on every street corner including visual art installations, roving performers, parades, literary readings, theatre shows and inspiring music from morning until night. Weekend passes start at $160 and are available from and children aged 12 and under are free. This year all pass holders get free entrance to Barkerville Historic Town! And every adult weekend pass includes a $15 voucher to spend at the festival merch booth.
