The Ignite the Arts Festival, presented under the umbrella of the Penticton Art Gallery, is back for its 4th annual celebration of creativity, community, and culture in Penticton, BC! This year, the festival will feature three days of non-stop music, art, performances, and workshops across nine vibrant venues in downtown Penticton from March 28 to March 30, 2025. Early Bird Weekend Passes are now on sale at a limited-time price of just $75 (plus service fees), available until midnight on November 30, 2024. Adult Weekend Passes include a $15 voucher that can be used at the festival for artist and festival merchandise or food and beverage at participating Ignite Venues.

Festivalgoers can look forward to an eclectic lineup of over 70 musical and performing acts, spanning genres from folk and electronic to spoken word, hip hop, world roots and more. With live theatre, dance, exhibitions, and a range of family-friendly programming, Ignite truly offers something for everyone. Experience Penticton’s dynamic community atmosphere as you explore each unique venue and immerse yourself in the excitement of this music and art filled event.

The Ignite the Arts Festival Weekend (March 28-30)  follows on the heels of Ignite Community Week ( March 21 – 27, 2025), which features events, exhibitions, workshops and a town wide ArtWalk in partnership with other local community organizations and businesses. In this way, Ignite spans over 10 days attracting locals and out of town visitors to Penticton during Spring Break.

Get your tickets now at www.ignitethearts.ca with an easy payment plan option available. For updates on the festival lineup and programming, visit www.ignitethearts.ca or the Penticton Art Gallery website.

Purchasing a ticket early directly supports the artists and resources that make Ignite the Arts a reality, enabling this vibrant celebration of arts and culture in the South Okanagan. Ignite also welcomes your participation in the lead up to the event and will be holding it’s first community meeting on Sunday, November 24 at 4pm at the Penticton Art Gallery. November 24 is also the last day to submit an artist application to the festival. Or if puppets are your thing, the Ignite Puppet Brigade welcomes you to join the free Puppet Making Workshops November 17, 21 and 28, 6:30 – 8:30pm at the Penticton Art Gallery. You and your puppets can then join the fun at the Ignite Parade for No Reason on Friday, March 28!  Join us in making the 2025 festival an unforgettable experience!

Ignite the Arts is honored to take place in snpintktn (Penticton), on the unceded ancestral territory of the syilx (Okanagan) Peoples, and is committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming space that celebrates creativity and community.
