Artisan Sake Maker1339 Railspur Alley
Artisan SakeMaker is Canada’s first sake winery established in 2006 with purpose of producing small batch, fresh and naturally processed craft sake. |

There are five main wine regions in British Columbia, each producing a range of grape varieties and wines — the Okanagan Valley, Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, the Fraser Valley and the Similkameen Valley.
There is no better way to understand the wines of British Columbia than to visit the places where they‘re made. In visiting each region, it‘s important to remember that wine begins with grapes, fruit and honey, vineyards and wineries, but is really so much more.
Look around. What makes a wine region unique is what makes its wines unique. Look at what else is growing nearby. Look at the soil. Pick some up and smell it. Good wine will reflect the natural and agricultural heritage of the land. And because BC wines are handmade on a smaller scale, they are nurtured in ways others just can‘t.

Cedar Creek Estate Winery5445 Lakeshore Drive
Our wines are carefully grown, caressed and finessed rather than simply made, bottled or produced. We believe that wine is elevated from product to craft by careful attention to all aspects of viticulture and winemaking; choice of land, selection of varietals, clones, rootstocks, pruning, cropping, hang time, press method, barrels, time in oak, blending and bottle aging. Our very best wines are designated "Platinum" - it's our reminder that the choices we make have to add up to one better than gold. We believe that we make the very best wines in the Okanagan Valley. In fact, we believe our wines are as good as any made in the world, but we will provide that, rather than claim it. And the results show in every bottle. On that, you have our word. |
