  • You’ll enjoy the Sunshine Coast. It is an urban interface area with a temperate mediterranean climate. The long history of activity here is, in part due to our central location on the British Columbia south coast. We’re on a mainland peninsula with no direct road access. We’ve retained a sense of remote wilderness. Yet we’re close enough to make a visit easy.
Sunshine Coast Tours offers an excellent way to get to know this marine area. Informed commentary on your sightseeing tours tells the local story. Our expertise is marine operation but the history and culture, both indigenous and contemporary intrigue us as well. During your outing, the operator will highlight features along the way.  We try hard to make comments current and balanced; to inform and entertain you.
Get to know Princess Louisa Inlet on one of our scheduled tours. It screams “Super Natural BC”. Princess Louisa Inlet is one of our most iconic destinations. Go ashore beside Chatterbox Falls at one of the world’s most scenic anchorages.
Visiting Princess Louisa Inlet is a near spiritual experience. It was a special place for First Nations, a status recognized and retained to current times.
Our Skookumchuck Narrows tour includes a visit to Sechelt Rapids at one of the fast flow times. This natural phenomenon demonstrates the raw power of nature. It is North America’s fastest tidal stream. Yours is not a thrill ride. You won’t race about and we rarely splash. However, it is thrilling.
Our Skookumchuck Narrows tours run on days when predictions suggest there will be 10 knots of current or more. The boat moves about in the security of the smooth flow, but close enough to appreciate the power of the hydraulic features. It is a much more complete experience that you get from walking in and viewing from the shoreline.
We can customize programs for something different from our scheduled tours. Give us a call. Toll free 800 870-9055.
