Susan J. Falk is a British Columbian by birth, has lived in areas of natural beauty of the province and brings her love of the environment to her artistic expression. In recent year, her subject matter has turned to expressing the fragility of nature and our society's need to protect the forest and wildlife that live there. Susan received an environmental award from the township of Langley

Sought after for her mentoring and advisory capabilities she is often found teaching or serving on the board of directors with The Fort Gallery. With her active commitment to public showings, Susan is an artist vigorously involved in the life of art.

Susan J Falk's exhibition "RED CIRCLE OF LIFE" which wowed Japanese audience with her uniquely Canadian Life size Bears and Salmon in May 2015 i Kyoto Japan has recently led her on another painting journey. Incorporating her Japanese experience she continues her expressionistic oil and acrylic paintings sharing a visual expression with her trade mark colourist strokes while focusing on the Kimono in modern day Kyoto.
