Event Category: BC’s Best Festivals & Events

  • ArtsWells Festival is presented by Island Mountain Arts, and we are based out of Wells, BC.

The ArtsWells team has been working to make a virtual option possible! Join us from the comfort of your own home: Wednesday, July 29th for a fun night of music from previous ArtsWells attendees!

The online version of ArtsWells will be completely free to view on Facebook live and YouTube, but it is encouraged to donate if you can to help support Island Mountain Arts in its future endeavours. Look out for scams trying to convince you that a price needs to be paid to enjoy the show!

We can’t wait to share some ArtsWells spirit with you through an online version! For now, stay safe and healthy.

With musicians coming from across the province and from around the globe, festivalgoers can expect a wide variety of musical styles and artistic forms

With both towns creating the festival site, arts and culture abound on every street corner including visual art installations, roving performers, parades, literary readings, theatre shows and inspiring music from morning until night. Weekend passes start at $160 and are available from and children aged 12 and under are free. This year all pass holders get free entrance to Barkerville Historic Town! And every adult weekend pass includes a $15 voucher to spend at the festival merch booth. Camping and other accommodations available from ArtsWells and other providers throughout Wells and Barkerville. The ArtsWells Festival and Island Mountain Arts are grateful to operate on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lhtako Dene, part of the Dakelh Nation. Keep an ear to the ground for the second lineup announcement in a few weeks.
