The New West Cultural Crawl is a two-day visual art and cultural festival that celebrates and presents New Westminster’s creative character and diversity. A cultural experience that exists throughout the city’s neighbourhoods. Discover our historical heritage and the ‘New’ New West.
New Westminster has a fantastic artistic landscape that continues to evolve with every passing year. Saturday and Sunday the New West Cultural Crawl sprawls across New Westminster as arts and cultural facilities throw their doors open and welcome you in.
This two-day event in October will include open studios where local artists feature their work and their creative process. Look for special events and live paint-ins at popular arts, culture and heritage destinations around the city.
The self-guided crawl is arranged in convenient neighbourhood clusters that showcase local art in galleries, theatres and historical venues. These neighbourhoods include Sapperton, Downtown, Uptown, West End, and Queensborough.
Please be aware that some cultural crawl venues require pre-booking. Visit our website for more information.
